ACCURACY

±0.5 percent to ±1percent when using a single idler scale with belt loads from 25 percent to 100 percent of the rated scale capacity.  Optimum scale performance requires conformance to installation and calibration guidelines.

EASY TO READ DISPLAY

The display provides four lines of information. It simplifies calibration and makes data entry easy to understand. Normal viewing provides accumulated weight, rate, belt speed, and percent of load on the belt for either short tons or metric tons.

FITS ANY WIDTH CONVEYOR

The Belt-Way modular design fits any width conveyor. The free floating weigh-bridge is suspended from 1-1/4" pipes. Move scale from one conveyor to another by simply adjusting pipe length if needed.

SIMPLE, RUGGED DESIGN

The load cell and speed sensor housings are fabricated using heavy wall steel tubing. All steel parts are cleaned, painted and baked to provide years of service.

LOW MAINTENANCE

Material build-up on the scale produces inaccuracy. The low-profile Belt-Way design reduces the potential for material build-up.

PRODUCTION TRACKING

Use this feature to record the amount of time the scale is running at, or above your programmed rate.

MODEM INTERFACE

Use the RS-232 output to log data to a printer P.C., scoreboard display, or phone modem allowing monitoring of scale data from anywhere in the world.

AUTO ZERO

This standard feature automatically tracks the empty weight of the belt and idler to compensate for material build-up on the belt.

EASY TO INSTALL

Unique modular design makes Belt-Way Scales very simple to install with complete installation averaging 3 hours or less.  Load cells simply bolt to your existing idler. This eliminates removing the idler, jacking up the belt, or making any other mechanical alterations to your conveyor.  The speed Sensor installs easily on standard scale support pipes.  All scales shipped with installation instructions.  A K&R professional installer is available to install the unit for you.  

NEMA 4X ENCLOSURE

Controls are housed in a NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosure featuring a full 'o'-ring sealed waterproof door and corrosion-resistant hardware. An atomized metal interior coating protects against the harmful effects of static discharge from lightning, EMI, and "RF" interference.
